All the 'extras' that make a Charlotte Mason Education so rich.

• Poem (with Author mini-bio)

• Psalm (with commentary)

• Parable

• Patriotic Song (+ sheet music)

• French folk song (+ sheet music)

• Nature Study topic (and some suggestions to accompany)

• Handicraft Suggestion (with links to actual projects)

• Character Trait and Habit mini studies (quotes, examples, definition, bible verses)

• Month info (history, holidays, and symbols)

• Calendar (mark daily temperatures, and weather, along with any special nature firsts)

How to use:

• The poem, parable, and psalm are all great fodder for recitation and/or dictation.

• We as a family, do 4 songs a week: hymn, folk song, French song, and patriotic song.

• The Character trait and Habit are more for mom to peruse over the month, and use as a guide for correction/focus than for the child to see.

Anything else is meant to be a helpful resource; not a nagging thing to be checked off!
